Behold, the first post in the brand new Provocateur blog! Hurrah! Excitement! Et cetera!

YourFriendsAreNaked.com will feature Provocateur news coverage about as comprehensive as you’re going to find anywhere, straight from the horses’ mouths (my what an unflattering turn of phrase). In the coming days we will be adding galleries to the blog where you can see photos of the group, and even share some of your own (once they have undergone our rigorous double chin screening process). We will be posting clips of the new album for you to download and enjoy and turn into ringtones or whatever it is you people do. There will be contests! Prizes! Gossip! Windows Paint Artwork! Who knows really but it’s all rather exciting!

Did you know that we will be performing again in just a few short weeks? Well, we will be. Here are a couple of facts that you should know so you can prepare accordingly:

But for now, a different performance-related matter: It has recently been brought to my attention by a Madonna fan that She has been doing aerobic activities, including jump-roping in her unmentionables, at recent concerts.

Scientific Poll: Would you be more willing to buy our music if we were to begin our concerts by jump-roping in our underthings?

A) Obviously.
B) Gross, no.
C) Perhaps.
D) I just can’t be sure.
E) Only if Honeysmacks does it; the rest of you sorry lot can keep your britches on.

Please note that your vote doesn’t actually have any effect whatsoever on whether we disrobe and double dutch on stage (we won’t); we’re simply trying to understand the way a Provocateur fan thinks.
