Clap on, clap off.

Posted by Matthew Connor on July 30th, 2009

A very robust THANK YOU to all who attended our performance on Saturday night! We had a magical evening, and Chris has now been fully initiated. Gooble gobble one of us, et cetera. In case you missed out, be advised that our show featured quite a bit of clapping.

Lots and lots of clapping.

The audience clapped occasionally, as well, we’ve been told.

You can find photos from the night over in the gallery, including a ton of great shots from local music photographer In Your Face Photo. Did you get (flattering) pictures of your own? Send us a link!

Don’t move from that computer chair, video of our performance is on its way! (Actually, it will probably not arrive until next week so on second thought maybe you should go take a walk.)

Wacky Widget Friday!

Look, an “album preview widget!”

Oh but wait, a “come to our show widget!”

And as an added bonus, free of charge, here is a “kitten widget!”

I hope this helps get you through the day.

Parlez-vous Provocateur?

Posted by Matthew Connor on July 15th, 2009

Okay, listen up:

A week from Saturday (that’s the 25th of July), we will be playing with the incomparable FREEZEPOP. You’ve heard of them.

A couple of finer points:

1. This is Freezepop’s 10th anniversary show, and their last local show with “The Duke.” This also happens to be our first show with our new drummer, whom we have not bestowed a title upon just yet.
2. This show WILL sell out, so get your tickets early. That was a threat. Tickets can be purchased online here.
3. We will be playing first, so be punctual. Also a threat. Arriving at 8pm would serve you well.
4. We will be videotaping some of the songs from our set, so do us (and yourselves, but mostly us) a favor and wear something snappy.

We will continue to bring you updates about this shocking news story as it develops, but for now I’ll open the floor up for questions.
