Happy Two Days Before Black Friday, everyone!  This year, I am thankful for the new season of Dexter, tater tots, Elvis Aaron Presley, and the fact that my family made reservations at a French restaurant for tomorrow where theoretically nobody will be watching “the game”.  I would also especially like to give thanks for YouTube for bestowing so much happiness upon me.  I mean, where else can you see such an unnerving glimpse of yourself 25 years in the future?

I’d advise you to watch all the way through (or at least until 3:30) but really if you can manage to take your eyes off of this for even a fleeting second then I just don’t even know what to say to you.

Speaking of YouTube, we haven’t forgotten about our little contest. Sometimes we just get preoccuppied, singing to our pets and all.  In a few days’ time we will post some video footage of our recent Middle East Show so you can relive it for yourselves or get a bittersweet taste of what you missed out on.  Meanwhile, if you have any photos from the show, let us know and we will post them in the gallery!

Tonight’s the night!  You’ve heard the whole shtick a few dozen times now, but just in case:

Middle East Upstairs / Cambridge, MA / Provocateur, Midatlantic, The Daily Pravda, The Honors / doors at 9pm / 18+ / $10 ($9 adv.) / fuck yes.

What I told you all before about coming early?  Well, you still should because the room is small and might fill up and the other bands are really, really good.  However, you should be advised that the lineup has shifted around a bit and we will be playing closer to midnight.  If you’re drinking, please pace yourself accordingly.

Also, don’t forget about our contest!  If you take some footage of the show, you could win an iTunes gift card, a free ticket to our next local show, and a place in our hearts.  Doesn’t that sound grand?
